Service Awards

Carondelet students who commit to extraordinary service are eligible to receive two service awards: the Jefferson Award and the Presidential Volunteer Service Award.

Jefferson Award

The national Multiplying Good, Students in Action program grants Jefferson Awards that are meant to honor a person’s commitment to service and inspire action in others to create positive change within their communities and the world. Any Carondelet community member who demonstrates a holistic response to a a community need by creating a service project to address that need may be nominated. Note: A person is not eligible if they have already received a Jefferson Award during their time at Carondelet.

Awards are granted in the fall and spring semesters.

President’s Volunteer Service Award

The President’s Volunteer Service Award honors the most outstanding volunteers and recognizes the impact they make in their community. The award is granted to students of any class year by the Corporation for National & Community Service through Carondelet High School, as a certifying organization.

To be eligible, students should log their service hours on the MobileServe platform throughout the academic year. Information about eligibility requirements for each class year can be found in the links below.
