Vanessa Miranda

Campus Minister for Community Service & Social Advocacy

Vanessa was drawn to ministry while working as a student minister at Loyola Marymount University. After graduation she served as a full-time volunteer at Cabrini University in Radnor, PA. Inspired by both of these experiences, she delved into theological studies, receiving her Master of Divinity degree from Boston College School of Theology and Ministry in spring 2020.

As a graduate student, Vanessa developed a passion for global social justice issues, missiology, and liberation theology. She has ministered to a wide range of youth, from serving as an elementary school instructional assistant to chaperoning college alternative break trips. She hopes to inspire her students to make connections between faith and justice inside and outside the classroom.

In her free time, she enjoys singing, playing her guitar, and reading.
