Starting in the Summer of 2025, Camp Carondelet will run as an all-girls camp. Following trial testing of this format for select weeks in 2023 and 2024, along with tracking the overall trends of our camp enrollment of over 97 percent of girls each summer since 2020, we are uniquely positioned based on our school mission to host a single-gender camp at this time.
We would like to thank all families with 3rd- 8th-grade boys who previously enrolled in our camp and supported our programming over the past five years. We appreciate your interest in our offerings and hope you will continue to spread the word about Camp Carondelet with the girls in your life.

2025 Camp Activity Descriptions
Café Carondelet
Back by popular demand each summer, At Café Carondelet, we only have one rule: You make it, bake it, and eat it. Campers will have the chance to whip up tasty treats & quick bites that they can pose for a selfie with and then enjoy each day! In previous summers, popular dishes have included Pasta Primavera, Brownies-To-Go, Shake & Eat Ice Cream, and an annual favorite, Fresh-made Lumpia. We are excited to see what our specialty chefs whip up in 2025. Yum!
Note: Camp Carondelet is an allergy-conscious environment and all basic recipes will be planned accordingly. If your daughter has an allergy concern, please plan to note this on our medical form which will be available in the Spring.
Carrie Cougar’s Summer Tinkering Shop
Our “oh so, smarty pants” (and always fabulous!) school mascot has a challenge for YOU! Step inside her Summer Tinkering Shop and find ways to build, create, and solve problems with some Summer STEM fun. Daily activities will vary but may include designing small model cardboard and wood projects, learning to imagine and “bring to life” anything you can think of with everyday household items, and much more. It is also believed that Carrie herself might be available to make an appearance to check on how it’s all going(her summer schedule is always pretty booked, but let’s keep our fingers crossed). We’ll see you there!
Carondelet Creative Makers Space
Want to learn how to tell stories like the pros? Explore the steps to building Audio and Visual projects that hook your audience and leave them waiting for the next episode. Campers will have the opportunity to script, record, and present on topics that are most interesting to their group, or can even attempt a project solo! Combining podcasting, videomaking, and production, campers will be creative pros in the making with this activity. All topics must be age-appropriate and aligned with Carondelet’s overall mission.
Escape Room Adventures
Ready? Set? Off you go! Our very popular Escape Room Adventures activity provides campers the chance to work in small groups or solo to search for hidden clues, puzzles, and other secretive gems that can be used to set them free from different spaces throughout our Concord campus each day before the clock runs out. Prizes (including LOTS OF CANDY) and tons of fun await!
Improv, Theatre, & More!
Prepare for non-stop fun & laughs while you learn. Improv, Theatre, & More! (as in more laughs, more fun, more summer! ) has been designed to help campers build communication and critical thinking skills with a fun dose of humor and imagination. Activities may include solo and group skits, character creation for stories, musical sing-alongs, and understanding what makes a good story or show including on-stage/off-stage movement, cadence, and how to build a story arch.
Math Made AMAZING!
Subtract all the traditional school year rules you’ve learned and discover how fun MATH can be in real-life summer scenarios. Multiplied from Carondelet’s revered math program, campers will be introduced to fun and unique ways of seeing how math impacts their daily lives, without having to ever (evenly ) factor in any of the “scary’ feelings the “M word” brings for some. Math is all around your daughters, everywhere, every day, which makes it even more, you guessed it…. AMAZING! – No quizzes or exams will be required, however, there may be an addition of many prizes and treats throughout the remainder of the week. Bonus points will be divided among campers who come up with more Math puns than we did!
Summertime Interactive Games
Calling one and all summer games lovers! Summertime Interactive Games allows campers to use summer screen time for fun and enrichment while working in a friend pod or completing a gaming “level” individually. Popular games offered in the past have included Minecraft, Trivia, and Interactive Monopoly. Specialty teachers for this activity also create outdoor interactive games to balance screen time and create space for bonding and fun among cohort peers.
Silly Summer Storytellers
Get back to the basics of writing for fun & creating ideas for goofy giggles and glee as a Silly Summer Storyteller. Activities may include campers creating poems, re-writing lyrics to their favorite songs, Team Building MadLibs ( Camp Carondelet Style! ), and telling stories through creativity. Activities can be completed solo, but are much more fun and memorable when you work in groups!
Winton Wacky Science Lab
Do you love all things science and technology with an occasional side of fun formulas to keep you on your toes? The Winton Wacky Science Lab is the perfect summer camp activity for children of all ages to build their creative pathways through experiments and innovative projects that can be recreated for years to come.
Winton Drive advanced DiGiTAL REMIX Studio
Do you want to become a creative whiz and learn how to meme, gif, and or even remake current images in no time? The Winton Drive Advanced Digital Remix Studio focuses on helping campers think and see on and off-screen in new ways including how to remix their favorite images into new creative pieces. Some elements of this activity may include storytelling through imagery and creative thinking for inspiration and is a fun way to create pieces that memorialize their days at camp.
2025 Refund Policy: All registered families are eligible for a full refund until 11:59 PM on Friday, February 14. Refunds are not issued automatically by our system. To receive a refund, please contact Kimber directly to complete your request. Refunds are typically processed and returned within 7-10 business days.
2025 Cancellation Policy: If any full session(s) of Camp Carondelet is canceled for any reason, families will be eligible for a full refund throughout any course of the summer. Email notifications will be sent promptly with notification of the cancellation and refunds will be issued within 7-10 business days of final cancellation.
What are the hours of Camp Carondelet?
Camp Carondelet runs from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM each day.
Can my daughter attend for a half-day?
There are no half-day options for Camp Carondelet available at this time. With the exception of illness, emergencies, or early release for external appointments, all campers are expected to be on-site with their cohorts between 9 AM and 4 PM.
Is Lunch Included?
Camp Carondelet is a ‘Bring Your Own Lunch/Snacks’ camp. We have found that this model works best for our families and has been successful since we opened in 2020. Note: Camp Carondelet is an allergy-friendly camp. We request that campers avoid bringing high-risk allergy foods for the safety of their camper cohort including peanuts, tree nuts, and shellfish/shellfish-based foods. We do our best to coordinate with families who have concerns to avoid exposure to allergens, but total exposure cannot be guaranteed.
What is the address for daily dropoff?
Daily dropoff takes place at our Main Campus, located at 1133 Winton Drive in Concord.
What is the address for daily pickup?
Daily pickup takes place at the Carondelet Athletics Complex, located at 3737 Valley Vista Road (directly across from Boundary Oak Golf Club).
Can my child be grouped with friends?
Most campers are grouped with their friends automatically. If your child and their friends are in the same grade, they are automatically placed in the same cohort. Note: Cross-grade cohorts (i.e., 6th grader wants to be paired with 7th grader are NOT guaranteed and will be dependent on the availability of each session.
My kid has been added to the waitlist, what happens now?
We appreciate your interest in Camp Carondelet. Once a session hits waitlist mode, you should receive a notification via email to notify you that you have been added to the queue in line for a spot. Once a space opens, you will be notified directly via text or email by Kimber to register. Waitlist families are typically given 24 hours to respond and claim a spot as a courtesy to other families. If you do not respond via text or email within 24 hours, your child will be re-added to the waitlist.
