HSPT Entrance Exam

The Diocese of Oakland will administer the High School Placement Test (HSPT) at each of the eight East Bay Catholic high schools in January 2027. Carondelet will hold our HSPT on Saturday, January 9, 2027, from 8:30 to 11:30 AM.
The High School Placement Test (HSPT) is required of all applicants. Applicants are only allowed to take the HSPT one time and must have an application on file for the school at which they choose to test. Parents will receive a copy of their student’s results via email directly from Scholastic Testing Service in March.
Parents: Please arrive no later than 8:15 AM in front of the Garaventa Center at Carondelet, where a guide will greet you and escort your student to their seat.
Students: Bring at least two #2 pencils to the test. Calculators are not allowed.
Students who need to request extended time, please complete the optional Accommodation Request by Friday, December 11. This is in your application checklist on Finalsite.
HSPT Prep and Practice
