The Power of Her takes the Power of Us. Give Today.
As a proud alumna of the Class of ’94, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside the students, families, and staff of Carondelet High School. A Catholic education is a true blessing. It nurtures students in their faith while helping them recognize and share the unique gifts God has given them. Having experienced K-12 Catholic education myself and as a parent who chose it for my two children, I believe in its value and in the strong partnership among all stakeholders to guide and shape the growth of each student.
I hold a B.A. in Communicative Disorders from San Francisco State University and an M.A. in Learning and Instruction from the University of San Francisco’s School of Education, along with 20 years of experience supporting students with learning differences across multiple grade levels. Most recently, I completed training through the Institute of Multi-Sensory Education, which equipped me to deliver a research-based, structured literacy dyslexia intervention program in a K-8 setting within the Oakland Diocese. This program’s success enabled students to grow in confidence and thrive as readers. My teaching philosophy blends evidence-based practices with a faith-filled perspective, helping students recognize and embrace their God-given strengths.
Outside of work, I enjoy developing new recipes, diving into independent research on a variety of interests, and picking up new tech skills from my husband. Much of my free time is also spent supporting my high school daughter in her many interests, training our newly adopted puppy to become part of the family, and visiting my son while he’s away at college. One of my favorite pastimes is watching youth sports here at Carondelet. I truly admire the dedication and talent these young women bring to every game. Go Cougs!
