Sarah Guzzaldo

Faculty

Sarah is a graduate of the Carondelet class of 2008. While attending Diablo Valley College, Sarah signed up for a tutor training class and fell in love with tutoring her peers. She continued to work at the DVC Learning Center all throughout her undergraduate studies at San Francisco State University.

After earning her BA in English Literature, Sarah worked as a substitute teacher for the Mount Diablo School district until she returned to SFSU to earn her MA in English Literature and certificates in Teaching Composition and Post-Secondary Reading. In 2023, Sarah rejoined the Carondelet community as an English teacher.

When not teaching, Sarah enjoys reading (shocker), going to the movies, hiking, baking various desserts for very large and extremely loud family dinners, and playing Dungeons and Dragons with a group of friends she made back when she built sets with the DLS and CHS Theater Company.
