Lesley spent the first 10 years of her career teaching at St. Elizabeth High School in East Oakland where she taught Algebra, Geometry, and Precalculus. In 2013 she returned to her alma mater where she was the math department chair for 6 years. During this time she had the privilege of working with a dynamic department to help create the innovative, mastery based math program for Algebra 1 through Trigonometry.
In 2021, Lesley transitioned to Dean of Faculty where she had the opportunity to support the growth of the faculty at Carondelet. In June of 2023, Lesley became the Director of Enrollment and Engagement. She loves being able to share what a special place Carondelet is with prospective students and families. Lesley also supports the dynamic engagement team consisting of alumnae and parent engagement and community programming.
Outside of school, Lesley loves spending time with her husband, Carondelet’s English Department chair Michael Schooler, and 2 sons. She loves to travel and is trying to visit all 30 MLB ballparks with her family.
