Lesley (Burke) Schooler ’96

Dean of Faculty

Lesley spent the first 10 years of her career teaching at St. Elizabeth High School in East Oakland where she taught Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, and Precalculus. In 2003 she returned to her alma mater where she was the math department chair for 6 years. During this time she had the privilege of working with a dynamic department to help create the innovative, mastery based math program for Algebra 1 through Trigonometry Honors.

In 2021, Lesley transitioned to her role as Dean of Faculty. She is excited about this new opportunity to support the growth of the faculty at Carondelet and is looking forward to continuing to improve the wonderful education we provide for our students.

Outside of school, Lesley loves spending time with her husband, Carondelet’s English Department chair Michael Schooler, and 2 sons. She loves to travel and is trying to visit all 30 MLB ballparks with her family.
