This year marks the beginning of my 10th year at Carondelet, and I am honored to serve as Director of College Counseling. I love being part of the Cougar community and feel incredibly fortunate that each year students invite me to guide them through one of the most personal and important decisions of their high school experience—discovering the path that is right for them. As Director, I look forward to continuing to build a student-centered college counseling program that empowers every student to pursue a future that reflects her strengths, values, and aspirations

Before joining Carondelet, I spent eight years at my alma mater, UCLA, working in Undergraduate Admissions and Development. For the past 13 years, I have also served as an external application reader for UCLA Undergraduate Admissions, reviewing approximately 500 applications each year. In addition, I have served on the Executive Board of the Western Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC), collaborating with colleagues across the region to support students and advance the profession.

One of my favorite parts of this work is that there is always more to learn. I enjoy visiting college campuses, building relationships with admission representatives, and attending professional conferences to stay current on the ever-evolving college admissions landscape. I believe students are best served when counselors combine expertise with genuine curiosity, empathy, and a commitment to understanding each student’s unique goals.

Outside of Carondelet, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our six-year-old daughter, and four-year-old son. I also love hosting gatherings for friends and family—especially UCLA football watch parties.
