Wishes to be considered for a waiver to be on campus four days a week
Admission to G4 is granted by special waiver to return to campus all four academic days of the week. G4 students only come to campus on Flex Days when their class spotlight has on-campus activities. Even if a G4 status is confirmed, some classes may be at capacity and your daughter will have to go to a designated site on-campus to attend that course as a virtual student. G4 status is only available through a special waiver.
Important Note: The G4 option is only available based on the total number of students on campus on a given day and may be temporary. We are restricted to no more than 16 students per classroom to keep required distancing, per Contra Costa Health Services. If demand rises and hybrid attendance increases above that limit, we may have to suspend student entry into the G4 cohort and may be required to discontinue the G4 cohort when cohorts are re-sorted on February 22.
A student/family should not assume that the cohort change request has been accepted until a school administrator confirms the result.
