This course introduces students to the foundations of business while developing essential personal finance skills. Students explore entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, accounting, and management through real-world applications, case studies, and project-based learning. In addition, students apply the National Standards for Personal Financial Education, gaining experience in budgeting, investing, credit, taxes, and long-term financial planning. Emphasis is placed on collaboration, communication, and decision-making as students analyze data, evaluate opportunities, and propose solutions. The course integrates professional and leadership skills with core business content to prepare students for both the AP examination and practical financial literacy.
