Felicia Stiles ’11
After graduating from Carondelet in 2011, I graduated with my degree in Communication Studies from San Francisco State University. I then decided to pursue a career in the entertainment industry full time as an actress.
I was signed by the top talent agency in San Francisco Marla Dell Talent, and have been in various movies and commercials. I can be seen in the movie “Bumblebee” and in “Freshman Year” on Netflix, and more. I’ve also been in several commercials for companies such as Slack, Lending Club, Google, and the San Francisco Giants.
In 2018, I founded an afterschool program called “More Than Rubies Academy” for middle school girls, with the goal of growing self-confidence in the youth through activities such as public speaking, mock debate, and small group discussions. Through my program, I’ve spoken to close to 100 middle school girls throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
I launched my YouTube Channel, “The Feminine Fancy”, in October of 2019 and have over 34,000 subscribers. My channel focuses on empowering women through embracing femininity and building true confidence.
My videos have views reaching into the 100,000s and resonate with women across the globe. I work from home full-time creating content for my channel, blog posts for my website and managing my online store where I sell workbooks and other merchandise.
In truth, my years at Carondelet were difficult. I was never “popular”, I didn’t have many friends and I definitely didn’t peak in high school. But Carondelet gave me the tools and the desire to inspire and uplift women that I’ve carried into adulthood. And for that, I will always be thankful.
