In 2004, Naomi Dobrich and her late husband, David, began investing in Carondelet’s tuition assistance program. Driven by the values of faith, justice, and service—and inspired by their daughters’ personal experiences at Carondelet—the Dobriches made a significant mark on our school’s ability to extend a whole-person educational experience to deserving students, regardless of their family’s ability to pay.
Over the past two decades, Naomi carried out their philanthropic intentions by giving over $350K in support of students and families in need. She was actively involved in forming relationships with the students she helped, cared deeply about the growth and progress of Carondelet and our access and opportunity initiatives, and stayed connected to our institution with regular visits and correspondence. This steadfast, compassionate commitment to the betterment of our world through the empowerment of young women is a legacy Naomi and her family can be proud of, and one for which Carondelet is forever grateful.
