After graduation, I completed my BS in Environmental Design from UC Davis in June 1991. My area of focus was Graphic Design and Interior Architecture. While at Davis, I was the Director of Public Relations for ASUCD. The curriculum at Carondelet and UC Davis, as well as team sports and student government, has shaped me and gave me fantastic experience and confidence to start a series of online businesses.

Shortly after graduating, I started an interactive agency, Carve Media. Specializing in usability, interface design, online marketing, and strategy. Partial Client List includes Siebel Systems, Clorox, Sun Microsystems, Levi Strauss, Stanford Cancer Center, UCSF Health Care, Vodafone, Level 3 Communications, Keynote Systems, Honeywell, Autodesk, and UC Davis Health Care.

I then founded 2MODERN, an e-commerce modern furniture retailer. And, finally Sendo Invitations. An event planning and management site. I enjoy the control and flexibility of owning my own businesses and choosing my own path for them and myself.

I currently live in Woodside CA with my husband and our 3 daughters. My time is taken up by parenting, my work and also playing music. My husband and I are very involved at the local school, fundraising and are the ‘Parent Band’ at the school. We play at the school musicals and assemblies with the kids. This for us is a great way to give back and be involved with the kids and school. We also are very involved with a non-profit Little Kids Rock. Little Kids Rock trains public school teachers and donates the resources needed to run pop/rock-based music education classes. Often in schools that music programs have been cut. We also have formed our own band, Black Krim with some friends. We play for fun at local venues and fundraisers around the Bay Area.
I’ve been busy since 1987! And loved the years at Carondelet and cherish the friendships that have come out of it.
We want to hear from you! Please send us an update and share what’s new in your life with your fellow alums.
