NCS Champions and CIF participants

Congratulations to Cougars Basketball and Soccer for winning North Coast Section championships this season!

"We are very proud of the girls on both the Varsity Soccer and Basketball teams for winning NCS championships!" said Tom Williams, Athletics Director. "We are terribly excited, not just because we won but because our girls represented Carondelet and the Athletics Department with heart, faith and courage in consecutive nights and the result was excellence. We've experienced tremendous success in the fall and winter seasons. This is a testament to our students and coaches and the national model athletics program that we strive to create."

Athletics News

As part of the admissions process, a prospective transfer student to Carondelet should always consider her ability to be eligible for participation in interscholastic sports. While not every transfer student will desire to compete athletically at Carondelet, she should be aware of the rules that govern her eligibility/ineligibility once she enrolls in the school.

Carondelet Athletics Program

Carondelet’s Athletics program offers a tradition of excellence unmatched by our competitors. We sponsor 27 teams, 13 California Interscholastic Federation sports, and engage approximately 500 female student-athletes each year. With the support of 57 coaches, our programs continue to reach new heights.

Carondelet delivers a unique high school athletics experience because we encourage students to develop athletic abilities consistent with the highest standards of scholarship, leadership, sportsmanship, and Catholic values. In our 50-plus years, we have competed for more than 40 league championships, 53 North Coast Section championships, and three state titles. In addition, all of our recognized North Coast Section programs have earned Distinguished Scholastic honors by earning a combined 3.0 GPA or above during their season of sport, proving that our Cougar athletes are as confident in the classroom as they are on the playing field.
