Upcoming Tryouts

To try out for an upcoming season of sport you must have completed your registration on AthleticClearance.com. All athletes must have a current copy of their physical to upload for registration. Physicals must be good for the entire school year. No paper copies will be accepted.

Students must complete their current “season of sport” before trying out for the next season of sport. Per NCS bylaws The season of a sport for any individual student is that period of time that elapses between the student’s first participation in an interscholastic contest and the student’s final participation in a contest for that particular sport in that season.

Get a Physical

Print and bring this Physical form to your doctor’s office. The form must be completed by a medical doctor (MD) or nurse practitioner (NP). Students need to communicate that the physical is for clearance for athletics participation.
It is strongly suggested that the physical exam be completed between June 10th and July 15th (with the exception of cheer and dance which tryout in late Spring) to comply with CIF regulations for athletics eligibility. Athletics physical forms are valid for one calendar year. If you are unable to complete your physical during these dates, make sure your physical is valid through your season of sport.
Make a copy of the completed form. All student-athletes will need to upload their own completed physical form. Carondelet staff cannot upload paperwork that has been previously submitted to the Enrollment Dept.

Note on Kaiser: On occasion, Kaiser physicians may not complete the school-approved physical form. Our recommendation is that students bring in the physical form. If the doctor will not complete the Carondelet form, the After Visit Summary needs to show that the student is cleared for unlimited participation in athletics.

Register on Athletic Clearance

Complete your student’s registration at AthleticClearance.com. Athletics registration for the 2022-23 school year will open on July 1.

All athletes trying out for Spirit Cheer and Dance must complete the Cheer/Dance Waiver and bring it with them to the first day of tryouts.

Academic Eligibility

Per the Student Handbook, athletes must maintain a minimum 2.00 GPA during their season of sport to maintain eligibility. If the Athlete fails to maintain a 2.00 GPA at each grading period or if she receives an “F” in any course at the quarter or semester, she will go on academic probation as determined by the Athletic Director, the Director of Academic and Learning Support, and the Vice Principal of Academics. She may remain on her team and participate in all practices, but participation in contests may be put in jeopardy until such time as cleared by the Director of Academic and Learning Support.

Make an Athletics Payment

Families may make an online payment of fees associated with Athletics participation. Only make a payment when instructed to do so by Athletics staff. Select your sport:
