Distance Learning

As we move to distance learning to start the 2020-21 school year, Carondelet teachers and staff are making every effort to create an educational experience that matches the in-person environment.

We will continue to update this wepbage regularly with resources as the school year begins.

Flexible Learning Plan

Carondelet has produced the “Flexible Learning Plan,” a comprehensive guidebook covering our approach to our academic and extracurricular education given the pandemic, the ever-fluctuating restrictions, and best practices for schools. It covers the distance learning model, which we will use at the start of the school year, and the hybrid learning model, which we hope we can move to as soon as possible. This guidebook will be updated through the school year as we adapt to new mandates and recommendations from health officials and modify our programming for the best possible results for students.

Online Learning

We will share more information about the daily class schedule and student expectations for coursework, attendance, online behavior, and more during in a virtual Orientation video. The video will be posted to Schoology on Monday, August 10.

Staff Available

All staff will continue to serve students and families remotely. All campus resources will be open and staff are ready and enthused about working with each student just like any other school day. The only change is that this will all be happening virtually.

Students may contact our Wellness Counselors via email or voicemail message. College & Career Counselors will also be available to meet virtually with your student, and students can send an email to contact them. View fullFaculty/Staff Directory.

NBC Bay Area News features safety modifications

The school year will begin with distance learning due to state and county orders, but Carondelet’s prepared to bring students back to campus as quickly as safely possible.
