Spring Sports

If you are interested in trying out for any spring sports please start your registration now! Complete your registration on All athletes must have a current copy of their physical to upload for registration. Physicals must be good for the entire school year. No paper copies will be accepted.

Any additional questions please contact Jessica Rollins, Carondelet Athletic Trainer.

Winter Sports

The Athletics Department policy is that a student must complete their current “season of sport” before trying out for the next season of sport. Per NCS bylaws The season of a sport for any individual student is that period of time which elapses between the student’s first participation in an interscholastic contest and the student’s final participation in a contest for that particular sport in that season.

For fall sport athletes wanting to tryout for a winter sport, you will need to wait until you have completed the last game of your fall sport (including all post-season competitions). We encourage you to reach out to the winter sport coaches for the winter sports you wish to tryout for so that they are aware. We also need you to still add those winter sports on your athletic registration. Once your Fall sport has concluded, you will receive an email from the Director of Athletics indicating you are eligible for tryouts. The Director of Athletics will also email the coaching staff and indicate you are eligible for a tryout. You will then need to coordinate the dates for your three-day tryout period with the coaching staff for the sport you registered for.

Academic Eligibility

Per the Student Handbook, athletes must maintain a minimum 2.00 GPA during their season of sport to maintain eligibility. If the Athlete fails to maintain a 2.00 GPA at each grading period or if she receives an “F” in any course at the quarter or semester, she will go on academic probation as determined by the Athletic Director, the Director of Academic and Learning Support, and the Vice Principal of Academics. She may remain on her team and participate in all practices, but participation in contests may be put in jeopardy until such time as cleared by the Director of Academic and Learning Support.
