Due to poor air quality and proximity to the fires in the North Bay, several of our sites for tomorrow's Day of Service have changed.
There are four locations that are impacted, including the Fairfield Food Bank, Pleasant Hill Park, Shadowood Park, and Rogers Ranch.
The students who were scheduled to engage in community service at these locations will instead be staying on campus. Here, they will engage in an experiential simulation relating to service and justice in our community.
Those students who are now staying on-campus are still expected to follow the same instructions regarding drop-off and pick-up times (8:05 a.m. - 1:45 p.m.), attire (jeans and a Carondelet shirt), and bringing a low-waste lunch. See the reminders here.
The only element of the day that has changed is the location where some students will be engaging in service.
