Cougars Softball finds its Swing and De-fenses
If you haven't noticed, Softball is finding its swing and its defense. Softball has been having a run of late. The Cougars are 4-2 after an 0-2 start. They have experienced some powerful bats and strong defense in the last few weeks, outscoring their opponents 31-7 in their last 4 games.

Alex Schwenger hit the first ever home run at the new Carondelet Athletics Complex. Jesse Juinio, Gabby Williams, and Julianna Bridges would soon follow up with home runs of their own to drive the Cougar offense.

The defense has helped out as well, managing two shutouts in its last three games and an error free performance against San Ramon in a 4-0 victory.
The East Bay Times recognized Gabriella Williams talents in an article earlier this week. As a First-team All-EBAL selection last spring, Gabby is having a superb season; hitting .700 with five extra-base hits, including three home runs. Gabby also pitched a complete game with 14 strikeouts.
