Carondelet Golf, Water Polo and Volleyball Selected to NCS Playoffs

Water Polo earns top seed, volleyball garners five-seed in Division II brackets

Concord, Calif. – On Sunday, Oct. 29, the Carondelet High School water polo and volleyball teams were selected to compete in the North Coast Section playoffs, as announced by the NCS office.

The Cougars earned the No. 1 seed in the NCS/Les Schwab Tires Division II Girls Water Polo Championships, while the Carondelet volleyball team earned the No. 5 seed in the NCS Division II Girls' Volleyball Championships.

In addition to the water polo and volleyball teams, the Carondelet golf team will complete in the NCS Les/Schwab Tires Division I Golf Championships on Monday. The NCS Golf Championships will be played at Lone Tree Golf Course in Antioch, Calif.

The top-seeded Carondelet (15-6) water polo team will host St. Patrick-St. Vincent (15-11) on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 7:30 pm at De La Salle High School. The winner of the Carondelet versus St. Patrick-St. Vincent game will play the winner of the No. 8 Northgate versus No. 9 Bishop O'Dowd game on Saturday.

The Carondelet volleyball team (18-15) will host Casa Grande High School (8-10) on Wednesday, Nov. 1, with first serve scheduled for 7 pm at the Carondelet Gym. The winner of the Carondelet versus Casa Grande game will play the winner of the Northgate versus Washington game.

Ticket prices for all NCS Playoff games are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors, students and children. The Carondelet All-Sports Season Pass is not valid for any NCS Playoff games.
