Born and raised in the scenic Patagonia region of Argentina, Yamil moved to the U.S. 15 years ago, transitioning from teaching History and Philosophy to Spanish at high school levels. He enriches his classes with the lively essence of Spanish and Latin American cultures, enhancing his students’ learning experience. An enthusiastic soccer fan, Yamil values the sport’s focus on teamwork, which is reflected in his teaching methods. He is also a keen reader, always incorporating new ideas into his teaching. In his free time, Yamil enjoys simpler pleasures like construction and cooking, finding these hobbies to be a source of personal fulfillment and relaxation. He also loves spending time with his family, including his wife, three children, and their dog, Vessi.
