Applied Filmmaking

Students will apply the industry standard techniques of filmmaking as a tool to communicate a story, express an idea, and connect to an audience. They will learn the basic filmmaking principles: rule of thirds, establishing shots, camera angles, movements, storyboarding, and screenplay development. Film editing and effects will be incorporated into final projects and presented to the class for critique and improvement.
