This course will introduce students to a variety of activities which they can choose to pursue for recreation after graduation. These lifetime activities may include: bocce, cardio kickboxing, dance, Tae-Bo, yoga, Pilates, jump rope, strength conditioning, badminton, disc golf, softball, ultimate Frisbee, and orienteering. Students will learn the health benefits of physical activity, components of fitness, as well as principles of training and general work-out design.
Note: This course may not be repeated for kinesiology credit. Carondelet Kinesiology uniform and appropriate shoes are required.
