  • Annette Eros, Carondelet’s President-elect

Dear Carondelet Community,

It is with great excitement that I write on behalf of the Board of Trustees and the President Search Committee to introduce Annette Richardson Eros as the fourth President of Carondelet High School. Annette will officially begin her role as President of our school on July 1. She will succeed Bonnie Cotter who, as previously announced, will be finishing her tenure as President in June in order to rejoin her family on the East Coast.

Annette is no stranger to Carondelet or Catholic education. She attended Carondelet as a member of the class of 1985 before moving to St. Louis with her family just prior to her senior year. Her two daughters attend Catholic school on the Peninsula where she currently resides.

Annette comes back to Carondelet bringing with her extensive experience and success in not-for-profit leadership. Most recently, she served as the Chief Executive Officer of Ronald McDonald House Charities, Bay Area, where she spearheaded a substantial fundraising effort, managed a diverse professional and volunteer staff, and led and implemented a long-term strategic plan. Annette is eager to take on the challenges of the President’s role as she continues to strengthen the mission of Carondelet’s learning environment built on the spirit and tradition of our Catholic, CSJ founders.

Our Search Committee, spearheaded by Bo Radanovich and assisted by national educational leadership search firm Carney Sandoe, was blessed with a strong and diversely talented candidate pool from across the United States. Finding the best candidate right in our own backyard was an added bonus. Much thanks to Bo and the entire search committee, named below, for their diligence and tenacity throughout the process that enabled us to select our next school leader:

      • Bo Radanovich, Chairperson (Trustee, Parent ’07, ’09, ’10)
      • Tom Bobich (Trustee, Parent ’09, ’13)
      • Sr. Rosheen Glennon, CSJ (Trustee, CSJ Community)
      • Lea Harrington ’90 (Alumna, Parent ’18, ’22, ’23)
      • Lynne Kenny ’86 (Alumna, Staff)
      • Jim Marcotte (Trustee, Parent ’16)
      • Terri Porter (Trustee, Parent ’04)
      • Jen Reinwald (Faculty/Administration, Parent ’22)
      • Michael Schooler (Faculty)
      • Sr. Sandra Williams, CSJ (CSJ Community)
      • Greg Young (Parent ’21)

Annette will join us on campus as President-elect on Monday, March 2. Annette will have the opportunity to shadow and learn from Bonnie’s leadership as Bonnie completes her term as President through the remainder of this academic year. The Board will host a New President’s Welcome Reception at the beginning of the 2020-21 school year when Annette officially begins her role as President.

The challenge of identifying a leader capable of assuming the mantle of visionary leadership and continuing the strategic roadmap for Carondelet’s rise to a nationally-recognized Catholic, college-prep institution is a formidable one. The board is excited to build on the progress that Bonnie and her team have so energetically ignited and is looking forward to continued growth and success under Annette’s leadership.

Please join me and the entire Board of Trustees in welcoming Annette Eros back to the Carondelet community.

Sincerely,

Tom Bobich
Chair, Board of Trustees
