Carondelet students attended the Model United Nations Conference at Stanford University last Veteran’s Day weekend. This conference attracts high school students nationwide to participate in a simulation of the actual United Nations. Carondelet students stepped into the shoes of ambassadors from member states to resolve global issues through debate and negotiation. They spent the weekend practicing skills such as public speaking and collaborative problem-solving while meeting other motivated high school students from across the nation.
Carondelet is planning to attend Model United Nations conferences during the 22-23 year which include:
- Harvard Model Congress (Jan. 13-15, 2023)
- UC Berkeley MUN (March 3-5, 2023)
