Students then enter their project into the National History Day local competition. Projects are judged and students are interviewed about their research process.
“This assignment was so different than anything I’ve ever done in school. National History Day required me to do in-depth research and design a website to present our project. I enjoyed being able to combine my interest in history and design into one project,” said Francesca Arrigoni, ’20.
Carondelet students Ella Scarlett and Jasmine Smalling (above) and Francesca Arrigoni and Carly Oshel (right) all advanced to the state competition held in May.
Mr. Miller’s A.P. History class also includes De La Salle students who advanced to the state competition.
