Our first COVID-19 Helper is our own Director of Annual Fund, Lynne Sabbagha Kenny ’86. Lynne knew she had to do something to help our health care workers during this crisis so she reached out to family and friends and raised $4K to deliver meals to local hospitals.
She partnered with two local caterers, Fuget About It Catering owned by Jerry Carpenello. Jerry is a longtime friend of CHS and is the husband to Rosemary ‘Mim’ Regan Carpenello ’80 and father of Miranda ’12, Gianna ’14 & Dominique ’16.
Slow Hand BBQ owned by the Freng/Bullota Family, joined in the effort. Jack Freng and his two children Maureen Bullota & Dan Freng are his partners in the family business, as well as his 4 grandchildren. Maureen’s son is Hayden Bullota DLS ’22.
Lynne, you are amazing and a true example of a woman of heart, faith and courage!
