Ways to Give

Give Online

You can make a gift online to a designation of your choice and honoring a family member or loved one, if you wish. Pay with credit card using this secure online form.

Make a Campaign Pledge

A multi-year pledge enables you to maximize the impact of your campaign commitment. A payment schedule of 3-5 years is encouraged to help families fulfill their desire of making a most meaningful gift.

To inquire about Campaign pledges, please contact Sheila Gilchrist, Campaign Director, at 925.686.5353 x330 or SGilchrist@carondeleths.org

Give by Mail

Make checks payable to Carondelet High School and mail to Carondelet High School, 1133 Winton Drive, Concord, CA 94518.

Please include a note indicating how you wish to be recognized and whether the gift is made in memory or honor of a family member or loved one.

When making gifts in late December, note that the IRS considers the postmark on the envelope in which the check is enclosed to determine the tax year for which the gift may be deductible.

Matching Gifts

Your employer may be one of the hundreds of companies that match their employees’ gifts to educational institutions. If so, your gift to Carondelet could be doubled or even tripled. Some companies also match their retirees’ gifts.

For donor recognition purposes, Carondelet credits Matching Gifts toward donors’ annual giving total.

Giving Stocks and Other Securities

Giving publicly traded securities to Carondelet is easily done and tax-wise. When you give stocks, bonds, or mutual fund shares that you have held for a year or longer, the IRS allows you to give without recognizing capital gains on the appreciation.

The recent sharp rise in the secuirites markets make this an ideal time to make stock gifts while reducing tax obligations. Mike Barry, a Carondelet trustee and parent of two alumnae, explains how.
