HSPT Test and Prep

HSPT Entrance Exam

The Diocese of Oakland will administer the High School Placement Test (HSPT) at each of the eight East Bay Catholic high schools on Satruday, January 20, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The High School Placement Test (HSPT) is required of all 9th grade applicants. All students must register online for the HSPT by January 10, 2018.

Please register to take the test at a school to which you have applied. You only have to take the test once. Parents will receive a copy of their student's results via email directly from Scholastic Testing Service on March 16, 2018 after 3:00 p.m.

Students: Bring at least two #2 pencils to the test. Calculators are not allowed.

Parents: Please arrive no later than 8:15 a.m. in front of the Garaventa Center at Carondelet, where a guide will greet you and escort your student to their seat. Parents are welcome to stay for coffee and light refreshments in our Inner Court

HSPT Prep Course for 8th-Graders

Carondelet High School will be partnering with East Bay Prep test preparation center of Concord to offer an HSPT prep course. This 3-hour workshop will focus on HSPT tips and test taking strategies and is open to any prospective Catholic High School 8th grade student.

A continental breakfast and light snack will be included. Students should bring pencils and note-taking materials.

When: Saturday, December 9 from 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Where: Carondelet - Garaventa Center
