Athletics Transfer Policy

As part of the admissions process, a prospective transfer student to Carondelet should always consider her ability to be eligible for participation in interscholastic sports. While not every transfer student will desire to compete athletically at Carondelet, she should be aware of the rules that govern her eligibility/ineligibility once she enrolls in the school. The North Coast Section (NCS) of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) has a very detailed process for athletic eligibility that an applicant should review prior to making a formal decision about acceptance (http://www.cifncs.org/parents-students/elgibility_information). Furthermore, certain forms must be completed prior to any Carondelet Athletics activity. All transfer students interested in gaining athletic eligibility at Carondelet are encouraged to fill out the Parent/Student Certification form below/attached and connect with our Athletics Department before the start of the 2018-19 school year.

Frosh "Girls Night Out"

Save the date, Wednesday, May 23 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., for a fun night for our incoming freshmen to hang out and meet their new sisters! We will be hosting a casual event where students will have food, fun activities (crafting, movie, and music), and most importantly time for them to get to know their classmates and peer counselors. This is a wonderful opportunity for ALL of our incoming freshmen - especially those who are entering with no or very few other students from their school (and we have many of those!). The peer counselors will be present to help students make connections with their family group and to ensure that they are feeling comfortable. If you have any special concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Personal Counselors, Stacie Besagno and Sarah Alpert, in advance. We know this time of year gets very busy for our 8th grade families, but we hope your daughters can all attend!

Please RSVP here by Friday, May 18 so that we can get a head count for food.
