Carondelet Water Polo to Battle Redwood In 1st Round of CIF NorCal Playoffs

CIF State Division II Girls Water Polo Bracket

Concord, Calif. (Nov. 12, 2017) – In the opening round of the 2017 CIF NorCal Girls Division II Water Polo Championships, the Carondelet water polo team will play the Redwood HS (Visalia, Calif.) Rangers on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 5 pm at Golden West HS in Visalia, Calif.

After posting a runner-up finish in the 2017 NCS Division II Girls Water Polo Championships, Carondelet earned the fifth seed in the eight-team bracket, and enters Tuesday's game with an 18-7 overall record. The Cougars made their first NCS Championship finals since 1996, and lost to Drake, 8-4, on Saturday evening at Northgate High School.

Redwood (29-2) earned the fourth overall seed in the CIF NorCal Girls Div. II Championships, after defeating Menarche HS to win the Central Section CIF Division II Girls Water Polo Championships.

Ticket prices for the first round of the inaugural CIF NorCal Water Polo Championship games are $9.00 for general admission and $5.00 for seniors, children, and students, with a valid student body card.
