Carondelet High School

Faith & Service

At Carondelet, our students don’t just deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith and gospel values: they put them into practice.

Through our Campus Ministry program, students nourish their faith and their own expressions of spirituality through school liturgies, prayer services and retreat programs. For example, students who are part of the Spiritual Life Council assist in liturgy planning. Peer ministers assist in the freshman, sophomore, and senior retreat programs. Juniors spend a day serving the poor at St. Anthony’s Foundation in our Urban Plunge program.

Through our Community Service program, students immerse themselves in Carondelet’s culture of service that has been recognized nationally by the Jefferson Awards. Service opportunities include fundraising for causes such as the Get On The Bus Foundation or “Women for Women,” running food drives, tutoring school children, visiting the elderly, and providing companionship for severely handicapped teens, and putting on a Halloween Party for disadvantaged children.

Senior Synthesis invites a dynamic group of seniors to identify and evaluate how well we are living out our school’s mission, ensuring we always keep the mission at the center of all we do.
