Carondelet’s Athletics program offers a tradition of excellence unmatched by our competitors. We sponsor 27 teams, 13 California Interscholastic Federation sports, and engage approximately 500 female student athletes each year. With the support of 57 coaches with a combined total of more than 190 years of head coaching experience, our programs continue to reach new heights.

Carondelet delivers a unique high school athletics experience because we encourage students to develop athletic abilities consistent with the highest standards of scholarship, leadership, sportsmanship, and Catholic values. In our 50 years, we have competed for more than 40 league championships, 21 North Coast Section championships, and three state titles. In addition, all of our recognized North Coast Section programs have earned Distinguished Scholastic honors by earning a combined 3.0 GPA or above during their season of sport, proving that our Cougar athletes are as confident in the classroom as they are on the playing field.

Carondelet High School is proud of its comprehensive athletics program and heritage and as such, we value all teams, sports, and student athletes equally at all levels of play. We consider athletics to be an integral part of the school community and, therefore, the Carondelet mission to live with heart, faith, and courage remains at the core of our athletic ideals. Carondelet is a place where young women enjoy the opportunity to develop athletic abilities consistent with the highest standards of academic scholarship, leadership, sportsmanship and school tradition.

A Carondelet student athlete is a confident and accomplished young woman who pursues the highest levels of intellectual, personal and athletic achievements.
